Workplace Safety Awards
Nominate a Policyholder Today!
Are you a current FFVA Mutual policyholder, or an agent of one, with a track record of a successful workplace safety program? Have you made strides to improve your safety efforts to reduce injuries and keep employees safe at work? Then nominate a company to be recognized for their safety achievements!
About the awards: FFVA Mutual’s Safety Awards are an annual recognition of policyholders who have gone above and beyond to enhance and improve their safety programs.
Who will receive: Two of the top nominees from any size business will receive the workplace safety awards.
Reasons to nominate: Each award winner will receive a credit of $1,000 toward personal protective equipment (PPE) for their workplace. They will also receive a plaque to display and a celebration event (ie: pizza party, ice cream truck, or other option of their choice) for their employees up to a $500 value. The producing agency contact(s) will receive a recognition desktop award to display.
Who can submit: Nominations can be submitted by a company representative, safety director, agent of record for the employer or an employee of FFVA Mutual.
Timeframe: Nominations will be open through March 3, 2023.
Selection Criteria for Consideration:
Safety Achievement Award
- Loss Ratio under 20% for a minimum of 4 consecutive years with FFVA Mutual
- Improving Experience Modification factor (MOD rate) for each of the qualifying years
- Completes critical recommendations made by their FFVA Mutual safety consultant
- Attends FFVA Mutual training, live webcasts, web-based resources and other safety services through OSHA outreach or other sources
- Development and implementation of formal safety programs, self-inspection programs, incentive plans and safety committees
Commitment to Safety Award/Most Improved
- Improving Experience Modification Factor (MOD rate) and declining loss ratio showing continuous improvement
- Attends FFVA Mutual training, live webcasts, web-based resources and other safety services through OSHA outreach or other sources
- Development and implementation of formal safety programs, self-inspection programs, incentive plans and safety committees
