Claims Designated Adjusters

Multiple States

FFVA handles multiple states. Adjusters are trained and experienced to handle the state(s) in which they are assigned claims.

Assigned by County

Adjusters are assigned by county of the main location for the insured. This promotes communication between the adjuster and the insured in order to coordinate excellent claims handling.

Outside Adjusters

Outside adjusters are assigned to lost time cases to meet face-to-face with injured workers and the insured to explain benefits and investigate claims.

Personal contact with claimants reduces attorney involvement and provides for documentation of important facts pertaining to the accident. Outside adjusters complete a full investigation which includes a detailed description of the accident; background information on the claimant to include any prior injuries or illnesses, prior work experience; medical information regarding the injury; investigation of any possible witnesses; and recorded statements if necessary. They also obtain signatures on forms, including a HIPAA release for medical information, a Social Security information release, an unemployment compensation release, and fraud statement.
